Your educational objectives for your children are very important to think about, but if you apply them too early with too much force, your kids will definitely get sick of it really fast. They'll cooperate for a while, but after a few years, they will stop putting up with all the pressure and just ignore it. Telling them about how they should be getting good grades for getting into college while they're still in elementary school is not a good idea.
